RV-4 project needs a financier or buyer. Chapter 878 has taken on the building of an RV-4. As we have begun the work, it’s clear that we need a dedicated space, and an invested financier or buyer. The tail feathers are mostly done and we have started installing ribs to the spar. The project could be taken over outright, or our members could work along with the buyer to complete this project. If interested, contact Dave Swanson @ 763.242.0334.
Chapter 878 was established in 1986 at the Maple Lake Airport at Maple Lake, Minnesota. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have fun doing so.
Our members come from throughout the central Minnesota area west of Minneapolis, encompassing the beautiful “lake country” in the neighborhood of the Buffalo and Maple Lake airports. Member meetings are held monthly, and vary in location from these two airports to member homes or workshops. You are welcome at our next meeting or event as our guest.
